1:1 nutrition consultancy
Personalised sessions, with Julia: Registered Associate Nutritionist, Integrative Health Coach, Mind-Body Researcher, and someone who has also been through it.
WORKING WITH YOU
Julia's approach begins with understanding what is driving the patterns you are experiencing. Not managing the symptoms on the surface, but addressing the underlying nutritional, metabolic, and gut-brain factors that are keeping them in place. Evidence-based, compassion-led, and built entirely around you.
IS THIS YOU?
You think about food more than feels normal. The thoughts arrive without invitation and no amount of willpower seems to quiet them. Or perhaps food feels less like the issue and more like a symptom: the flat mood that will not shift, the energy that drops without warning, the thinking that feels slower and foggier than it should.
You have tried the obvious things - eat better, move more, stress less - and yet the patterns persist.
These sessions are for those who are not feeling quite themselves, and who suspect that what they eat and how their body is responding to it is part of why.
You might be experiencing one or several of the following:
WHO THIS IS FOR
A persistent low mood or emotional flatness that does not have an obvious cause.
Food thoughts that feel out of your control: the cravings that ignore hunger and the preoccupation that won't switch off.
A diet-binge cycle that feels outside your control despite repeated attempts to break it.
Mental fog, difficulty concentrating, or a sense that your thinking is slower than it should be.
Energy that drops unpredictably across the day, regardless of how much you slept.
Hormonal or cycle-related shifts in mood, appetite, and cognition that feel disproportionate to what is happening in your life.
These are not failures of discipline or willpower. They are the body responding predictably to conditions that are not being met.
THE APPROACH
Julia works with you 1:1 to understand what is driving what you are experiencing. Drawing on the full toolkit of nutritional science, including nutritional psychiatry, functional nutrition, gut-brain research, metabolic health, and the biology of the female hormonal cycle, the aim is not to add more rules to your life but to understand the mechanism well enough that the right changes become obvious rather than effortful.
Food sits within a larger picture, and the consultancy reflects that.
Areas of focus
Food noise and appetite regulation
Low mood and emotional regulation
Diet-binge cycle and restoring a healthy relationship with food
Gut-brain health and the microbiome
Hormonal rhythms and nutritional needs
Energy and cognitive clarity
How we work together
The consultancy runs as a three-month programme. This reflects how long the mechanisms we are working with take to shift and stabilise in a lasting way. Real change in how the body regulates mood and appetite requires time to observe, adjust, and embed.
-
A conversation about what you are experiencing, what you have already tried, and whether this work is the right fit. There is no obligation. If the nutritional dimension is clear and the work makes sense for you, we go from here.
-
The first session is longer because understanding comes before everything else. We go through the full picture: your eating patterns, your energy across the day, your relationship with food, your sleep, your cycle, your stress, and what the patterns you are experiencing actually look and feel like for you specifically.
By the end of this session you will have a clear understanding of what I believe is driving what you are experiencing, and what the work will address. Most clients describe this session as clarifying in a way nothing else has been.
-
This is where the work happens. Each session reviews what has shifted, what has not, and what the body is telling us. The approach is adjusted throughout based on your response rather than a fixed protocol. The spacing of two to three weeks gives you enough time to implement changes and observe how your body responds before we speak again.
-
A note after each session: what we discussed, what we are addressing, and the specific focus for the weeks ahead, along with any resources that may be helpful. Something to return to between sessions without being overwhelmed by information.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
No, most of the people I work with are not clinically diagnosed with anything. They are simply not quite feeling themselves and they suspect that what they eat and how their body is responding to it is part of why. That is enough.
-
The starting point is always nutrition, because it is one of the most direct levers we have for influencing neurochemistry and how the body feels. But food sits within a larger picture and the work reflects that. We take a holistic approach, looking at how all the pieces of your life are fitting together and affecting your health, including eating timing, sleep patterns, social circles, stress levels, movement, and so on.
-
Yes, this practice does not have borders. All sessions are conducted online via video call in English.
-
Most nutrition consultancy focuses on what to eat. This practice focuses on why the patterns you are experiencing exist at a neurochemical and physiological level, and what addressing those underlying mechanisms actually looks like. If you have been told to eat more vegetables and sleep more and it has not helped, that is not because the advice is wrong, it is because it is not reaching the level where the problem lives.
-
Nutrition consultancy works well alongside other forms of support. I am not a medical doctor and this work does not replace medical care. If there is anything in your history that falls outside my scope of practice I will tell you so during the discovery call and I can point you toward the right kind of support.
-
Most importantly, your commitment to change. You need to want to do the work in order to see results.
On a montary level, £550 for the full programme. This includes the initial 90-minute deep-dive, four 60-minute follow-up sessions, and a written summary and resources delivered to you after each session.
If you would like to continue beyond three months, we can discuss a follow-on arrangement at the end of the programme.
3-month pricing plans are also available.
